"Impeccable style, cleanliness and hospitality. The room, food, wine list, staff, linens, delicious air and hikes, all provided us with a 5 star experience that was also relaxed and welcoming. We’re still talking about our stay weeks after returning home from our month long exploration through France and Switzerland- a hidden gem- and actually liked it better than a Michelin star spot we visited shortly afterward. "La situation géographique est bien. On peut stationner l'auto dans la cour fermée de la propriété. Le logement est spacieux, propre, bien équipé, avec une cuisine sur une grande terrasse donnant sur un très beau jardin et une piscine où l'on peut se baigner. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques. Le petit déjeuner est bien bon et diversifié."

"The chalet is small but perfectly formed - perfect for a long romantic weekend. It is possible to walk along the quiet back lanes to the coast and the little port of St Vaast la Hougue and is close to the little port of Barfleur which has figured large in English history and the lighthouse at Gatteville. We particularly enjoyed being serenaded by the local tawny owl."
