Le flamboyant

"This hotel/restaurant was a bit off the normal route, giving it a uniquely French feel. I think we were the only people staying. We had a simple cold cuts supper, which was delicious. And the wine was exactly what we were hoping for. Lovely outdoor garden for seating. The room was simply appointed but spacious and clean."

"a lovely small flat within easy reach on foot from the train station, and quiet at night. It's on the third floor though, so be prepared to carry up your luggage. My one big issue was the mattress on the double bed in the attic space - needs replacing with a decent one! I managed to move the bedding on the sofa bed right next to the bathroom, which worked out fine. The small kitchen is well equipped and there was coffee. Only stayed 1 night, so given the cleaning fee, it's better value the longer you stay. Lots of local info especially for outdoor activities, that some guests might appreciate."
