"Comfortable well-equipped room, with terrific shower, in an attractive farmhouse courtyard. Charming host who provided us with an excellent dinner in our room plus bottle of good wine, then followed it up with a super breakfast next morning. Well placed for heading for the Tunnel about 1hr 15mins distant and beforehand we did a supermarket shop in the good Carrefour in Hesdin 10 minutes from the gite."

"Our host was fantastic! Breakfast superb. Yoghurt, freshly prepared fruit, pastries, flan all brought into our room at our choice of time. Delicious home-made jams by Jean Louis' 90 year old Mum. The radiators worked well and made the room nice and cosy. The bathroom was only finished being fitted the night before we arrived."

"The toilet was wobbly, which felt unsafe, bearing in mind I have two dodgy knees. I think it was just overlooked from completing the bathroom the night before. I mentioned it to Jean Louis in the morning. Were were made to feel very welcome. Jean Louis' Mum was in the window of her house waving goodbye to us when we left."
