La Liniere

"La casa es PRECIOSA. Llena de detalles de buen gusto y exquisita belleza. El desayuno, casero, estaba buenísimo, y servido en una vajilla preciosa. Descansar en la Liniere fue un maravilla, ni un ruido por la noche, y por la mañana te despertabas con el canto de los pájaros. El anfitrión es amabilísimo, un encanto de persona. Tenía el detalle además de dejar unas jeannettes (madalenas) en la habitación para cuando volvieras. Uno de los sitios más bonitos en los que estado, sino el que más. Está a las afueras de Honfleur pero se llega en diez minutos dando un agradable paseo. Recomiendo dejar un día entero o dos (si se quiere coger el barco) para conocer bien el pueblo, que es maravilloso."

"The house is absolutely gorgeous, while the location is very close to the centre of the village it was still peaceful and quiet. Very attentive and friendly hosts, wonderful breakfasts and overall lovely atmosphere in this property."

"It’s a very beautiful house with ornate furnishings. The owner went out of his way to make sure I had everything I wanted. The breakfasts were amazing with all his guests sat round one big table giving you the chance chat to each other. He even allowed me to park my motorbike in his garage. Superb host nothing to complain about and I would definitely recommend the hotel. Oh and it was very quiet too, the only thing you can hear are the birds."

"Nothing to do with the hotel or the owner, but if you are a bit unfit it’s a bit of a steep climb up the hill to get to the property especially on hot days."

"Large, comfortable room, excellent bed, good-sized shower room. Lovely house with a lot of character/charm, wonderful rooms (e.g. for breakfast). Host was very welcoming and ensured our stay was enjoyable. Conversing in English was not a problem!"

"A minor issue: water pressure for showers not as powerful as some guests may wish. Location of house is up a steep hill from the town which may be difficult for some."

"Beautiful old property, very well maintained, secure. On outskirts, but pleasant short walk into town centre. Staff excellent, welcoming. Spoke English which was helpful to us! Wonderful breakfast, with shared dining table which allowed opportunity to talk to other visitors."
