"Totally charming host Laurent. It was a real pleasure meeting him and his wife and all the animals! The gite is clean, comfortable, spacious and has lots of lovely character. Kitchen was well equipped. Would have been a fantastic place to stay if we had been in the Rouen area for a few days. We were only there for one short night, so did not have time to enjoy everything that the gite had to offer. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area."

"Warning for anyone visiting Rouen: if you want to drive in Rouen, you need a Crit'air sticker. You have to buy these a couple of weeks in advance. We did not know about Crit'air until the evening when we wanted to drive in, so had to park outside the zone and walk the mile to the centre - it was a hilly walk!"

"Don't be put off by the property entrance. It looks a bit run down. But inside it opens up into a lovely large house full of quirky surprises. Beautiful wooden beams, a spiral staircase, a balcony overlooking the living area. The children loved it. A modern kitchen equipped with all you need. Even a friendly horse and donkey. A real find!"

"Single toilet and shower were a bit limiting if there are a lot of you."

"Lots of space for the 4 of us (all adults). The host was very helpful and quick to react to any problem or question we had. The area is beautiful, if a little steep when walking into the town."

"There was slight inconvenience on the first 2 days when there was no hot water available, but the host did his best, and the hot water eventually returned. The rickety wooden spiral staircase to the upper bedrooms was a daily challenge for those of us who were sleeping upstairs!"

"Vriendelijke ontvangst door gastheer. Erg leuk vakantiehuis met drie aparte slaapkamers, keuken, aparte wc en een heerlijke douche. Verblijf was heel comfortabel. We komen zeker nog weer eens terug."

"Die Unterkunft liegt kurz vor Rouen im Grünen und ist sehr ruhig. Es handelt sich um ein altes, ganz liebevoll renoviertes, stilechtes Haus. Direkte Nachbarn sind Pferde. Der Vermieter ist sehr herzlich, offen und mehr als hilfsbereit. Es macht Spaß mit ihm zu reden!"
