"Apparently I asked for a quiet room, but being next door to the kitchen with a juicer grinding from early in the morning was definitely not quiet. The hotel wasn’t easy to find as we arrived on bicycles in torrential rain & most hotels appeared to be part of the same chain, I headed for the one in the advert then had to cycle back up the road to the actual hotel. We didn’t come into contact with any staff except someone operating the juicer in the morning. Nice breakfast, although we were charged for this after the initial booking without asking for it which was a little sneaky."
