"Absolutely loved our stay at this small independent hotel! The building and interiors are brimming with charm and period-perfect furnishings. The location was central and all the main sights of the city were very walkable. The room was cosy yet comfortable, plus double-glazed windows and roller shutters kept out light and noise. But most of all, the view from the room was brilliant – from the second floor we had a spectacular view directly onto Saint-Maurice's church."

"The cupboard and hanging space were very small, but this kind of added the overall charm of the hotel. In the bathroom, the shower head did not have a wall attachment, but again, this was rather quaint and didn't really bother me."

"Location is fabulous for a city break. Close to eurostar (5min walk) & super close to all the city centre attractions. We had a superior double which was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Staff very helpful and friendly."

"It would have been nice to be able to hang the shower head up over the bath rather than just holding it over your head! Bit noisy at night with party goers on the street but I guess that's something you have to accept with a city centre hotel."

"Wanted a bit more room and would have liked a kettle (but staff supplied one on request with the most delicious Earl Grey tea I have had for a long time) and two glasses, but if we stay again we’ll probably know to book a different level of room."

"Breakfast is great, though the coffee is not quite as good as Europeans would expect. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the staff charming and the location perfect. We found that the hotel would provide an umbrella (it was pouring) and store our luggage. I recommend it highly."
