"The comfort of the bed, the views from the first floor overlooking the water, the fireplace, well stocked kitchen amenities, the TV with Netflix, Disney, etc. The wood tub was wonderful and the waterfall shower had great water pressure. The grocery store and petrol station were a very short drive or nice walk from the property. The property is ideally located for excursions to some of the most beautiful landscapes and sea tours—so quiet, peaceful and exciting. I can’t recommend highly enough!"

"The only flaw (if that) was the bit of light coming through the black out blinds. We traveled during the spring and forgot about how light it stays!"

"The location has stunning views, home was clean and well stocked. Gunnar was excellent at communicating with us (we arrived during the May 2024 labour strike). We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely go back."

"The best location on Faroe Islands (we travelled all around it). House is modern, full of great views and fully stocked. Really enjoyed just having a coffee and looking at the sea. The beds were really comfy and the place was big. One of the best self accommodation flats I’ve slept in."

"Onze beoordeling voor Torhus is uitmuntendz deze locatie Het uitzicht en het huis zijn een woord geweldig het contact met de eigenaar verliep meer dan soepel. Naar een navraag voor een kinderstoel. kwam hij direct spullen brengen binnen het uur. Het is gewoon een en al geweldig. Wij raden deze locatie ten zeerste aan."

"Mit Abstand das schönste Ferienhaus, das wir je hatten! Kreativ, architektonisch einfallsreich! Verputzer Sichtbeton, echt schick. Super geschmackvolle Einrichtung, tolle Bäder, eine lichtdurchflutete obere Etage zum einfach nur auf den Fjord blicken, lesen, essen und so weiter. Tolle Betten zudem. Die Küche hat sogar eine Eiswürfelmaschine, sehr cool! Dazu Gunnar: ein so netter, hilfsbereiter und interessanter Gastgeber, einfach nur charmant!"

"Færøernes smukkeste og mest gennemførte hus. Alt var helt perfekt og virkelig luksus. Helga og Gunnar var så søde og hjælpsomme og svarede lynhurtigt. Huset er stort med virkelig lækre faciliteter og med perfekt beliggenhed."

"Quisimos pasar una noche en la isla de Sandoy y lo acertamos de pleno al haber elegido este alojamiento, el mejor de las Feroe. Se trata de un espacio alargado en medio de la naturaleza (respeto por el entorno) donde cada habitación tiene un diseño moderno y una decoración exquisita. Ademas en la mesa te dejan dos botellas de vino francés que tuve que preguntar si estaban incluidas en el precio y por supuesto que si, un regalo de la casa. Ademas con un desayuno buffet excelente. También cenamos en el restaurante un lugar antiguo acogedor donde hay variedad de muebles antiguos y es que la casa es de las mas antiguas de Skalavik. TODO UN ACIERTO."

"This was a fantastic apartment for someone who is able bodied and used to navigating small inconveniences. I’m a very frequent traveller and this apartment was great for me. The location was very close walking distance to everything in Torshavn. If u have no car this place is even better. The apartment is huge and has everything you’d need. I spent 4 nights here and enjoyed it as I was able to wash and cook after travelling for 7 weeks. Personally I had a great experience and would book again. The staff communication from the management of the property were all good!"

"It's clean, quiet and nice chalet next to very calm fishermen harbour. The only buzz is made by bunch of young guys who come every day for rowing in an old fashioned oar boat. Which is rather attraction than disturbance. We would come back if we would stay at Faroe archipelago again. Few notes to people who come to Faroe for the first time: restaurants are extremely expensive (one small bowl of fish soup in stand at the parking lot is 150 DKK (approx. 20 €). When renting a car, you are offered option to prepay toll for tunnels. We travelled a lot around the islands and it probably made sense for us. Not sure. But think twice before you pay since prepaid toll is not valid for the newest tunnels. Entry fee for Traelanípa / Bosdalafossur is 200 DKK (80 €) and there are higher and bigger waterfalls for free and as dramatic cliffs (although without the story)."
