"Lovely host! Great place, everything you need and more plus pretty decent location. Close to all the shops and beach. Quiet neighbourhood. Felt super safe, property was stunning and villa was extremely clean and felt like we were at home. Didn’t want to leave!"

"Amazing property! Felt like we were in our own little oasis and the pool was an added bonus! Kitchen came with so many extras like rice cooker and air fryer which is so handy! "We stayed here for 10 days as a base in Pacific Harbour. The location was perfect for us. It is off the main road so there is very little traffic noise and was a quiet location with easy walking distance of the Pearl Resort and other restaurants (although we cooked most meals at the unit). It was great to have a well equipped kitchen with just about everything we needed. The property has two nice sized bedrooms and a spacious combined dining and living room with two couches and television. It was wonderful to have a washing machine and drying rack in the large downstairs entry room. The photos do not really do the property justice. The unit has nice gardens and views with plenty of parking. The on-site hosts were very nice and responsive to our needs and brought us coconuts or custard apples most days. The owner was also really friendly and responded quickly by Whats App. We wish we could have stayed longer."

"Had a great stay in Navai. It is very off the beaten path and felt like a real adventure. The people were so warm and welcoming. I climbed the mountain, swam in the river and toured some farms. It was a very welcome change of pace from the yasawas and I am so glad I came here to experience another side of Fiji. The (slightly) cooler temps were also very welcome compared to the coastal towns. The hike is not that hard going up but very muddy and slippery coming down so I’d recommend hiking boots and poles!"

"This house is absolutely beautiful and its surrounding landscape and private beach make it a one of a kind. Good beds, elegant fixtures, cleanly simple decor , and everything works really well (with some tiny exceptions). A well thought out and well built house! Onsite manager nextdoor is friendly and available and offsire owner is attentive and stays on top of things. There is a healthy reef right in front of the house for great snorkeling."

"I loved the friendly welcome I got from Vinna and Robert and helpful advice regarding tours, local busses etc during my stay. The homestay was spotless, with freshly painted rooms and new tiles in toilet and shower. My bed was large, with spotless linen, comfy pillows and mattress, and decorated with a welcome floral bouquet - a lovely gesture. The kitchen was spacious, with many food items such as spices and sauces supplied for my consumption. Air conditioner was quiet and efficient, and the locality was only a few minutes walk to the beach, supermarket and airport. A fresh food stall was at the front of the block serving delicious smoothies etc. Being beside the airport runway wasn't a problem as no night time operations occur at Matei and no jet aircraft land there."
