"Lo mejor del alojamiento es la hospitalidad de los huéspedes. Es un sitio humilde y tranquilo, el barrio es seguro, aunque no está en la zona turística, es tranquilo. Cuesta un poco encontrar la casa pero con maps llegas sin problemas. Muy buena calidad-precio , nos sentimos muy arropados, tranquilos y a gusto en esta isla, repetiríamos sin duda. "En realidad es difícil encontrar las palabras para describir el tiempo pasado en en la casa de Saif, excepcional, tranquilo, mágico, Saif es una de las mejores personas que hemos conocido, hemos ganado un amigo más que nada, nos fuimos con lágrimas en los ojos absolutamente encantados. "Es complejo, de lo que vi en la web la isla Elefantina me pareció algo más organizada. Es un enorme agrupamiento de casas antiguas y pobres con callejuelas de tierra en forma intrincada, desniveles, lugares con basura y excremento de animales, me resultó algo chocante. De todos modos traspasar la puerta del alojamiento era pasar a un lugar excelente. No me dió miedo en ningún momento,"

"The apartment is on Elephantine Island in Aswan, and the location is a bit difficult to find for first-timers. But the owner of the apartment will meet you at the public ferry and take you to your room. The island is relatively quiet at night and there is not a lot of noise. My leg was scraped, and the owner applied herbal compresses on the wound, which worked."

"Saif is the owner of the guest house, he gave us a lot of information of Aswan. I really like how he explained the structure of Nubian’s house. It’s difficult to find the place by yourself, although it’s just few minutes walk from the pier. It’s better to guide by the staff first. The public ferry costs only 10 LE, and goes from 6am to midnight, be careful for the scammers."

"Elephantine Island is a place of simple and peaceful people. The Om-Abdallah guesthouse is close to where the boats arrive. The streets have no names or numbers, but people know the guesthouse. The guesthouse is small, with only six rooms. The owner Saif is a generous and kind person. I have no words to thank him for all the attention he gave me, before and during my stay at the guesthouse; thank you Saif. I ate local food and bought handicrafts from Nubian women, this helps the local economy."
