"Meeldis privaatsus ja personaalne lähenemine. Eriline lemmik oli põrandasoojustusega avar ja suure peegliga vannituba. Hommikusöök ei olnud väga rikkalik, kuid see mida pakuti oli maitsev."

"We sailed up from Virtsu port to Puise port and I booked this place several days before as it has a very unique, authentic, and comfortable look. I didn't think it would be much trouble at all to get from Puise to Altmõisa but it was more challenging than expected. Altmõisa said they couldn't send anyone for us and the taxi companies weren't answering calls or didn't find anyone willing to come and get us from the port. Fortunately one of the owners and staff from the Puise harbor inn was around and gave the 3 of us a ride to Altmõisa hotel. It would have been a long and late hike of about 2 hours if we wanted to stay at the hotel otherwise. I was in contact with the hotel and they graciously had someone stick around to serve us a late dinner which was very nice and accompanied by some local libations. They were very gracious in that regard and it serves testament to their dedication to please their guests."

"The roof had quite a lot of wasps living in it though I expect they deal with this seasonally and it's just part of the territory. There was a bit of a smell coming from the bathroom and the water pressure wasn't up to the task of filling the large bathtub in the bathroom. These are things that are easily fixed so just check ahead. Transport to the hotel is something that you'll need to be very sure of on your own, which isn't too unreasonable or unusual, but we almost didn't make our reservation for lack of having a way to get to the hotel: you're out in a very rural area and national reserve after all. As sailors our situation was unique. Being out in nature while in the comfort of a manor style farm house is after all part of the charm, you just need to plan for it. All said, it is a beautiful spot and unique both historically and architecturally with kind and attentive staff."
