"Estuvimos dos noches como en casa .La amabilidad y disponibilidad de la pareja que gestiona el establecimiento son magníficas . Te ayudan con todo lo que necesitas. El guia para subir el Pico do Fogo Né, Nelito, fue extraordinario.Disfrutamos muchísimo tanto de la ascensión como de la bajada por Pico pequenho. Es una persona muy especial . Con él también hicimos una cara de vinos de la zona que resultó muy interesante . Recomiendo este guia , es muy buena persona y muy profesional ."

"The WiFi wasn’t all the time ok, water is only cold, but I guess it’s almost everywhere at Cha das Calderas. There is no hair dryer ( as well as everywhere on the island) and a kettle. From the beginning there was a misunderstanding about the price, I’ve booked a package which included airport transfer there and back and a bottle of wine, they asked me to book something else as it’s not profitable for them. They’ve explained that they’ve been hacked. I don’t know but I was put in the situation where I needed to quickly make a choice either to pay more ( which I did) or to find something else. Booking by the way didn’t answer my enquiry yet, even though it’s been more than a week and they promise to contact me within 24 hours."

"Family hospitality in a house in an excellent location near all the main attractions of Cha (trails, minimarket, bars, etc.). Clean and basic room with careful hosts. Excellent and good priced meals. They also arranged our airport transfer. The climb to Pico de Fogo with Giuliano was wonderful, and he was very patient in guiding us."

"The communication was only in Portuguese.... But even if we were not customers with the language they did everything to make it fluent!"

I stayed here for three days, in which they helped me being picked up and dropped off in São Filipe. Also, the son guided me to the top of Pico de Fogo. And the food here was really amazing, best chicken I've had so far!"
