"The emplacement is exceptional, a wonderful view over the ocean where you can see some curious turtles, and sound of waves. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, helping us to explore the islands. The guesthouse is in an isolated area so dinner is served in the hotel with a variety of local food."

"Some of rooms have a shared bathroom by two, you should read carefully the description it’s not very clear. Just a detail all things are good."

"Amazing view! It’s a great, simple place to sleep while listening to the sound of the waves. The rooftop where breakfast is served has a stunning view as well. Katia is such a lovely host—we absolutely loved her!"

"Great views over the ocean with visible sea turtles in the bay from the balcony. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Location was convenient. There is little to do in the surroundings in the evening (as in most of the island) but the guesthouse is locates on the main road to get aluguer (public transport) to the hiking spots. Varied breakfast on the rooftop with local products. Option for dinner on the rooftop at night, convenient as there are not many options around. Staff cooked local home made food everyday and took good care of the guests. Although a bit more pricey than the average on the island, still fair price. Dinners were a nice opportunity to meet other people and share experiences and adventures."

"I had a wonderful stay at Sinagoga Guesthouse. The location is perfect, as it’s centrally situated between several well-known hikes and major points of interest. The view is absolutely stunning—especially in the morning, when you can spot turtles from the rooftop terrace. The food is excellent! Breakfast is included, and for a very reasonable price you can also enjoy lunch and dinner, both of which are of great quality. At night, you can hear the waves and the wind. Personally, I loved this and slept very well. However, if you’re sensitive to noise, I would recommend bringing earplugs for a more comfortable sleep. Last but not least, Alcindo and Katia are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which truly makes the whole experience a perfect 10"
