Coffee House

"Este alojamiento es un sueño, he estado en 4 lugares de costa rica y es el mejor pues conjuga una casa en medio de una finca de cafe con 3 camas y todas las necesidades cubiertas con el ambiente de los anfitriones, la señora Hermidia es una mujer sabia que comparte sus conocimientos en un tour por la finca y te agasaja con limonada, yerbas y cuanto imagines. Las comidas que sirven son deliciosas y las atenciones de Mario y Noemí son de cada detalle. Como bonus nos permitieron visitar una cascada que está en un hotel cerca sin costo alguno y fue increible."

"Lack of furnishings. In a house for six people, there's no wardrobe, no dish drainer, no mirrors, no shelves, no clothes hangers, no salt, and the dryer doesn't work. Such simple things would significantly increase comfort. Also road marks where to find the house."

"We truly loved our stay at Hermida’s place 🤩 we were welcomed and hosted like a family. The food is freshly prepared and delicious, the coffee they make and sell is way better than in other coffee plantations or shops, so you must definitely buy few kg of whole beans coffee to take home :) You don’t need 4x4. Regular car will do just fine :) What we liked the most? The family atmosphere, the food, cosy and clean chalet right on the coffee plantation, amazing view from huge windows, the cleanliness of the place."

"Living in the jungle, a short drive from town. Big windows to great views of a family owned coffee plantation. The living room area is like a studio with a small kitchen, 2 big beds and a sofa bed + a seprate bedroom with 1 double bed. The best thing is the family who owns the place, so nice and welcoming. You can add breakfast for 8 usd pp (or 6 for kids) and a traditional dinner (14 usd pp). Great food. 4x4 is a must."

"The house was simple but very clean and well organised and surrounded by various fruit, vegetable, coffee plants. Above all, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, while the breakfast (included) and dinner ($14) were both wonderful home-cooked feasts!"

"It was confusing trying to find the property as there is no sign for ´Monte Santo y Café’. On Google Maps it is marked as ´Coffee House´ and the sign says ´Lluvia de Gloria’…"

"Amazing modern house in quiet area, far from touristic place. Fantastic coffe plantation around the house, kids enjoyed walking around every day. Family driven business, warm welcome. Highly recommend plantation tour. My kids did not want to leave. This is the place to truly enjoy pura vida!"

"Beautiful wooden house in midst of green, lovely birdwatching from the windows, comfortable beds and lots of space. Allan was a great host - gave us a very interesting tour of the farm and his team cooked most delicious dinners for us in the evenings. We loved it here!"
