Very comfort and cosy refurbished old cabin which has real authenticity. The owners are very friendly and always helpful."

"La atención de Daphnee fue excepcional desde el principio, ya que nos ayudó a encontrar la ubicación del alojamiento muy amablemente y fue muy atenta en todo momento, recomendándonos qué zonas visitar de la isla. Además, el alojamiento estaba muy limpio y tenía todo lo que necesitábamos (lavadora, tostadora, tendedor, etc.)."

La única pega es que la ubicación del mapa de booking no coincidía exactamente con la del alojamiento.

"Excellent location, just a short walk from Lonnoc Beach and a 15 minute walk from the famous Champagne Beach; 20 minute ride to Port Olry. There is a small village (Hog Harbour Village) nearby, about a 20 minute walk, where you can buy local bread and fruit. Accommodation is very basic but serves its purpose. Mosquito coils and nets are provided. The local who looked after us, Melody, was very welcoming and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. There were no kayaks available but they can be rented from the neighbouring Lonnoc Beach Bungalows."

Drainage in the shower is poor and the floor quickly becomes wet and muddy. Facilities are very worn out. The room has no shelving to put your belongings; this would be a great improvement. If you are on a budget, keep in mind that pretty much the only food options in the area are the restaurants at the lodge or at neighbouring accommodations, where a meal costs 1500-2000 vatu per person. The food is delicious though and there are local dishes - the paw paw curry was phenomenal.

"It’s super secluded! Very quiet. Had facilities from the 90s for kids and family to roam, cycle or just simply walk by the river. The family running the place are very welcoming. Great for fam with young kids"

The property is generally old, not that it’s not well kept but I think it’s kept as best as they can.
