Featuring a large outdoor pool surrounded by Mediterranean plants, Parador Tobler enjoys a quiet location on a south-east-facing slope above Ascona. It offers free shuttle services, an on-site restaurant and an indoor pool. Each room has free WiFi access, a balcony and offers views of Lake Maggiore, the garden and the surrounding mountains. They are equipped with a minibar and come with a private bathroom. Bathrobes and slippers are provided as well. You can enjoy typical Mediterranean specialities in the Tobler Residencia's Tre Palme bistrot with its summer terrace. A buffet breakfast is offered every morning. Free shuttle services from and to the Locarno Train Station, to the centre of Ascona and to destinations in the surroundings are provided. Bicycles, fitness facilities and Nordic-walking sticks are available for free as well. Ascona's Old Town is a 10-minute walk away and the lakeshore can be reached in 15 minutes. "Very nice and helpful personnel. We expected to be able to eat dinner in the hotels restaurant, but it closed at 18:30. This was disturbing as we came by public transport and due to knee problems we could only go from and to the hotel by hotel shuttle- but this service was not available after 17:00. That tainted the good experience somewhat. We ate in our room instead sharing dinner in a restaurant for my husbands birthday."

"This is a delightful hotel in a lovely elevated position with excellent views over Lago Maggiore and the surrounding country. Plenty of car parking on site. Comfortable and well-equipped bedroom with a comfortable sitting room attached. Excellent breakfast with a very good selection of very good hot and cold food. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Very nice and impeccably clean, small indoor swimming pool. The larger outdoor swimming pool was covered during my stay at the hotel."

La habitación era bastante amplia y cómoda, lo cual se agradece mucho durante la estancia. Además, el personal fue muy atento: tuvimos un inconveniente con la habitación cuando se disparó el breaker, pero lo resolvieron de forma rápida y eficiente. En general, todo estuvo muy bien."
