"As usual in Swiss hotels they do not honour the standard cost based on double occupancy. You pay for each person in the room. Plus an added almost $40.00 Cad city tax! Pricey night for us Canadians with our dollar exchange @ 1.75"

"Such a great place. Like other reviews, it’s not super new but that’s also part of the charm. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and impeccably clean, exactly what you would want. Excellent location within 5 minutes walk from the station. Breakfast was delicious as well! Super quiet at night, slept really well here."

"Hard to even think of anything here! If I must- the bar was closed due to staff illness and the gym could do with a bit of a clean (a few bits of rubbish left over), but honestly everything was great."

"Convenient walking distance to train stations and transport hub. Quiet street just off main road. Spacious rooms with good storage, comfortable seating and bedding and traditional decor. Lovely to have big windows and roomy balcony facing sun. Double sink in bathroom (really helpful for getting ready!) Kettle and fridge in room. Good choice of breakfast options. Friendly and extremely helpful staff. Added extras - ski room, lounge/bar area, coffee/tea making and afternoon treats in lobby, sauna."

"Located just 4 minutes walking with two kids from the train station. Just off the main road in the center of the resort. Good rooms, not the most luxurious one, but great, very clean, lots of room and storage. Good breakfast with everything you need. Close to get the shuttle bus to anywhere in the station. Great value for money. First time in zermatt.. if I’m back definitely staying here."

"Jennifer the receptionist was outstanding! We had a problem with check-in and she was cheerful, positive and very proactive finding a solution. The hotel was just off the main street and about 4 minutes from the train station. Very close to restaurants, trains and shopping. They also had a very nice breakfast buffet as well as homemade cake and afternoon snacks for guests."

"We had a confirmation with Booking.com for our room and the payment had already been processed. However, when we got to the hotel, they had no record of a reservation for us or the couple we traveled with to Zermatt. Thankfully, Jennifer at the front desk was able to get two rooms for us. This is the second time we have had this issue with Booking.com. Not a great way to begin your holiday."

"Only a 5 minute walk from the train station. Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Nice views of the mountains from our room. Staff on the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was excellent."
