"The hot stone bath was definitely something we looked forward to after a long day. The staff were extremely nice and cheerful. Additionally , they had organised a private camp fire just for us. In the cold weather, this became the way we celebrated our night. Out doors in 4°C but still warm and filled with laughs."

"Penjor tries to accomodate special requests and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. You have a great view of the Paro Valley and tucked away in the mountain nestled in a quiet serene corner. The main town is only a 15 minute walk down the hill and you have the best of both worlds where you can reach the town easily and yet have a certain quieitude."

"This is a very nice place to stay. The staff are super and really do their very best to accommodate to guests schedules and needs. The food is also great introduction to Bhutanese cooking though they can accommodate to western diets."
"The location is nice situated at the top of a hill a short distance from paro town. There are many dogs living near but not on the property who do sometimes bark at night. Good to bring ear plugs if sensitive to this. But it doesn’t detract from the great property and professionalism of the staff."

"Wangdue Eco Lodge is a lovely place tucked high above the Dzong, with amazing views from the room that really make the stay special. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout. Dinner and breakfast were simple but perfectly adequate. The rooms are very spacious, though they could benefit from a few extra touches to make them feel cosier, as they felt a little empty. Overall, a pleasant stay with beautiful views and a peaceful setting."
