"We had a great stay at Hotel Elena in Veliko Tarnovo. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming — truly one of the highlights of our visit. We arrived late in the evening, and although the restaurant was about to close, they still made us a pizza, which was a very kind gesture. There’s a nice little terrace to relax on, à la carte breakfast in the morning, and smiles all around from the team throughout our stay. There’s also a convenient parking lot right across from the building, and the hotel is within walking distance to the city center. Highly recommended!"

"Breakfast: You can choose between 4 or 5 versions to your own delight. It was decent. Staff: They were very helpful and very nice. This made the stay from average to good. Room: It was big and bright and clean. The TV worked fine and the balcony was nice. Location: It was relatively quiet as it is not on the main road that goes through the city. Bathroom: The toilet flushed properly and there was always hot water. The shower cabin was properly sized."

"Continental breakfast was what we expected. Room was large and quiet, bed was comfortable and nice to have restaurant and cafe in the same building. Walking to old town takes not too long. And extra plus is the green market near by. And ofcourse, parking is safe."
