And what was most important for us - also four legged family members accepted with a smile! We absolutely LOVED the individual garden entrance we had to our room, perfect for travelers like us - with kids & dogs. In other reviews people were complaining about the train. While train tracks indeed are behind the building, in the two days spent we did not hear any train… perhaps we slept so well or simply the line is not busy at all. I think we will come back 🙂"

Bathroom has mouldy smell, so needs to open window for ventilation. The building doesn’t have elevator, so if you have big luggage, it will be an issue to move your luggage.

"Modern, clean, self contained with bedrooms having on-suite bathrooms which also provided convenience and privacy. minimalistic though everything you expect from a hotel accommodation/apartment we had , elements from the spa were also included dressing, gowns and slippers, beach towels. The air conditioning throughout the rooms was great keeping us cool when relaxing in such a hot period of the year"

Algun dia el desayuno fue escaso y algún trabajador aún no atiende bien, pero es lógico y normal…a su vez esto me gusta, a los dueños enseñen y tengan paciencia con su staff, se notaba q había cariño y respeto…así q lo q no me gusto tb me gustaba!!!

"La casa es preciosa. Es una antigua casa suawhili. Se respira tradición por todos los costados. El desayuno es muy amplio y bueno, además el personal es muy amable."

La propia estructura de la habitación tiene unas aperturas por las que entran mosquitos. A pesar de haber ventilador (no da mucho aire) y mosquitera( estaba rota en algunos puntos) todas las noches entraban mosquitos a la habitación.

"La ubicación, las vistas desde la terraza, la cama muy cómoda , la señora muy amable. Veníamos para un día y nos quedamos dos! Había mosquitera y ventilador. También agua caliente!"

Difícil de encontrar. Y algún bicho que otro con sus excrementos. Aunque estás en el campo, y cerca de la ciudad.

"Las estancias eran preciosas hechas con mucho detalle, nos contó el dueño que lo había hecho él todo. Muy cómodo y el desayuno riquísimo y muy variado. Muy limpio. Tenían aparcamiento privado."

Por ponerle alguna pega, estaba a las afueras pero al pie de la carretera.

The homemade meal had a unique flavor I had never experienced before and made me feel healthy. The hosts were very kind and happily explained the village bus schedule and how to get to our destinations. They gave my sister and me an unforgettable memory. "Resumiendo: nos gustó mucho todo. Está muy bien ubicado, a cinco minutos andando del centro, es una casa muy tranquila, donde no hay ruido y se duerme muy bien, colchón y almohadas excelentes, toallas extra gruesas y suaves, ducha perfecta, habitación muy bonita (nos alojamos en la habitación que da a la parte de atrás), todo muy limpio, hay una neverita comunitaria de cortesía, agua, café, té, leche, práctico aparcamiento en la parte trasera de la casa (si llevas un coche muy grande, como en nuestro caso, puedes aparcar gratis en un parking que hay a unos metros, con un papelito que te facilitan en la casa, que permite el estacionamiento), el desayuno muy bueno, hay varias opciones además del British breakfast, particularmente rico el entrante de yogur, muesli y frutos rojos. La pareja que lo gestiona son muy amables y agradables, y están pendientes de todo."

"El hotel al ser una isla muy pequeña está obviamente bien situado. Las instalaciones están perfectas, la cama era muy cómoda, y además, tenían tanto aire acondicionado como ventilador en el techo. Por otra parte, Ryshwarn y Shamid, que son los chicos que están ahí en el hotel, son súper amables y atentos. Estaban pendientes en todo momento de que todo estuviera perfecto, y también te ayudan a encontrar excursiones y escuelas de buceo, o lo que necesites."

We didn't get a room by the pool as we had booked. Very slow service at breakfast. Old dusty furniture/kitchen equipment etc in public areas should be taken away for a better experience. The poolbar had very limited assortment.

"Aparte de la habitación con baño privado hay una cocina con todo lo que necesitas, en una sala preciosa para sentarte para comer, ver la tele o pasar un rato. Además hay una barbacoa estupenda con todo lo que necesitas. La cama es cómoda y nos sentimos muy bien atendidos por los propietarios. Nos preguntaron si necesitabamos más toallas limpias y cada día nos daba consejos sobre lo que podíamos hacer para llenar el día con actividades y excursiones. Hay 3 barcos disponibles cerca de la casa para utilizar gratis, muy aconsejable dar una vuelta por el lago, por la tarde hay mucha tranquilidad. El desayuno es muy correcto, hay dulce y salado. Y está en un entorno estupendo, no muy lejos de Savonlinna pero dentro de un entorno muy rural."

"The place is nicely decorated, very tidy and in a quiet safe area but little far from the sea. For people which like waliking like me is ok. Also can rent bike for free. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok and you could also order some food for lunch at a good price. Manja is an excellent cook and prepares local specialties. Internet was mostly ok. The pool was clean and a very relaxing place to spend time."

Sometimes a problem with taxis. Some of them don't know this place. You have to negotiate the price which can be very diffrent. (from 100 to 500 dalasies).

"This hasn't been my first stay at Chez Giuliana and it won't be the last – it's a family-run place that makes you feel at home, especially in a place like Ouagadougou, where finding a place that feels genuinely caring can make all the difference, There is nothing impersonal about this place. Staff is welcoming and attentive. Breakfast is served on the terrace – fresh fruit, coffee and cakes baked in-house. My rooms was comfortable and impeccably clean. Wi-fi connection is very reliable, which is great for me as I need it for work."

Estuvo todo bien

"El lugar es muy acogedor, limpio, ordenado, la ubicación es muy segura, se puede caminar por los alrededores y hay varios restaurantes, farmacia y supermercado a 15 minutos caminando. Los propietarios son muy amables y están al pendiente de todo. El desayuno completo y caliente desde las 7:30 am. Nos quedamos muy satisfechos con el lugar y la atención."
