"The hotel is just a short walk or bus journey into Mechelen or the train station and it also very close to an Aldi. Brussels, Antwerp and Leuven etc are easily accessible from Mechelen station. My room was very comfortable. The location of the hotel which is just off a main road was very quiet and I was able to sleep very well. The staff were very friendly and helpful."

"The hotel was well located for my visit to Mechelen. The room was clean and spacious and there was a good range of international TV stations available on the television. I was especially pleased with how quiet the room was at night no noise from outside enabling a good restful sleep."

"The hotel is in a quiet suburb, although it has considerable grounds of its own which gives the impression of being in the countryside when one is inside. The lady on reception was very helpful, and as the hotel has no evening restaurant, she kindly booked us into a restaurant a few minutes away in the car. Our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was of good quality and with a nice view out over the grounds. The building seems old and has considerable charm."

"The hotel entrance on the road is not lit up, which made the sign hard to find in the dark. The grounds are neglected and run down, although this does not affect the inside of the hotel, which is in good condition. There is nowhere to eat immediately close to the hotel if you need some supper. There is also no tea or coffee in the room. We were disturbed in the middle of the night by someone coming up the fire escape and shining a torch into our room: they were calling out and seemed to be trying to get in. Either there were no staff in the hotel, or they did not know what was going on. Note: this disturbance was not the hotel's fault, but the lack of available staff meant that there was no-one to stop it."

"Tout! L'accueil s'est très bien passé, la dame qui m'a accueillie était vraiment très gentille, et m'a introduite a la ville en me donnant des plans des activités à faire. Niveau propreté : absolument rien a dire! Tout était très propre, et pourtant j'ai une tendance maniaque. La chambre était très grande, c'était parfait!"
