Hotel Sunset

"El anfitrión (perdón que no recuerdo el nombre) nos explicó todo y siempre fue muy amable. Incluso sin saber mucho inglés, usando el traductor nos respondió siempre a todas nuestras preguntas y ante cualquier pequeño problemilla fue siempre atento y rápidamente lo solucionó. Es un ambiente muy familiar y estuvimos muy cómodos."

"Tal vez el desayuno podria mejorarse. ojo! No es que no nos haya gustado, simplemente que estamos acostumbrados a desayunar un poco más, por lo que nos quedamos con hambre ya que había pocas opciones. Con un poco más de variedad y algo de fruta estaría mucho mejor. Entrar al hotel sería muy dificil sin coche, incluso para novatos será desafiante porque es muy empinada la entrada, y para cuando queríamos bajar al centro sin coche hay que andar por calles muy muy estrechas en medio del tráfico y con poca luz. Esto no es culpa del hotel, claro, solo lo aviso para que lo tengan en cuenta si van sin coche."

"The hotel is very well maintained, everything looks new and spotlessly clean. The view from our room was incredible. Having parking available is a big plus, since staying here really requires a car. It would be too far to walk to the beach, so this was very convenient. Breakfast was average but sufficient to start the day. I missed having scrambled eggs, but there were boiled eggs, fresh options, and a very good coffee made by Nickos with his machine."

"Nickos, the owner, is clearly hardworking and committed to his guests. However, I found it a bit inconvenient when he asked why I booked through Booking.com instead of directly, as per same price, I personally prefer the security, extra points, and ability to leave a review. Reaching the hotel can be a little challenging if you’re not used to narrow streets and steep uphill roads where only one car fits at a time. The biggest downside for me was that smoking is allowed during breakfast. Eating surrounded by cigarette smoke is unpleasant and doesn’t create a comfortable atmosphere. Finally, communication could be improved. The owners and staff speak very little English. Since tourism in the region is growing, investing in this would be a big advantage for attracting more international visitors."

"We really liked our stay at this hotel - very spacious room and well equiped (loved it!), clean and tidy, good bed, lovely breakfast, WiFi, AC, nice and helpful host, and amazing views from the balcony. It had good parking - much appreciated! We enjoyed our stay and recommend for everyone going to Dhermi or places around by car."
